| The Galleon is the middle-sized of halfwood presses, with a nine-inch wide bed (a hard polycarbonate known as Lexan) good for plates up to 8 inches on their narrow width. The bed length allows plates up to 18 inches long. Three felt blankets are included, plus a user's manual, test plate, and DVD. The Galleon weighs a little over 50 pounds.

Bill Ritchie is the Galleon Press maker and applies his years of printmaking knowledge and love of woodcraft to the function and beauty of his Halfwood presses and the pleasure of making fine art prints. The photo is of what he calls the "hood" made of hardwoods.
