Artist's comment: Lu has been making prints for a long time and she used various hand-rubbing methods to get results, and occasionally took part in workshops where presses were provided. On the occasion of an anniversary, her family gave Lu and her husband cash gifts to buy a press and a laptop. They came to Halfwood Press and chose the Frigate Halfwood Press. I made a complimentary medallion to commemorate their 50th Anniversary, shown below.

got her press - a gift from her family. The
custom medallion was Bill's idea.
About Lu Mcbride: She is a member of several art organizations in the greater Seattle area, including Seattle Print Arts and Salons and Edmonds' ArtSplash fairs.
