Galleon Halfwood Press No. 12

DIY Mini Etching Press #19 after B. H. Giza assembled his press.

Artist's comment: B. H. Giza first saw the Halfwoods online in 2010 and wrote to express his interest and I followed his links to his work with ballet, portraits of dancers. I was able to look at his work in an online trifold brochure. His plan to use a mobile printing press on site led him to order his Galleon Halfwood Press in 2013. The next year, 2014, his plans for being a busker-etcher on the road brought him to buy the DIY Mini Etching Press, too. He said he wanted to, ". . .use this project to learn and understand the machine, e.g.: the rack and drive elements and a DIY kit will certainly do that!"
