Mini Halfwood Press No. 90

Ritchie's comment: I asked Gail Gwinn, a Whidbey Island artist who has a special model of the Legacy Mini Halfwood Press, if she could recommend an island artist and craftsperson to make Halfwood Presses and Buffy Cribbs was the best! Later, Buffy came to Seattle and took part in the "Make A Mini Halfwood Press in Five Days or Less," and was done in record time: 4 days! Already experienced in woodworking, metal working and printmaking, the press had few challenges for Buffy Cribbs. She considered being the second Halfwood Press Workshop to come out of the MAMHPFDL program to launch workshops all over the world (like Warren Ralls, who preceded Buffy by a few weeks). The press-making plan didn't happen although she did complete and sell two Legacy Mini Halfwood presses, one of which went to her printmaker daughter, and the other she sold.
